Latinas in Construction is a business resource group (BRG) part to the Georgia Hispanic Construction Association (GHCA) that provides a support network for women in the construction industry to share best practices and enhance their professional and personal development.

Our goal is to help Latinas to grow their participation and success in the industry!

In addition, Latinas in Construction creates leadership and professional advancement programs in the form of panel discussions, workshops and seminars, and promotes networking events to bring business connections closer.

The Latinas in Construction Committee

The Latinas in Construction Committee exemplifies unwavering dedication and foresight in championing the advancement of women within the construction industry. Through tireless effort, this trailblazing group meticulously designs impactful programming and strategically allocates resources to dismantle barriers and foster growth. For over seven years, visionaries like Guiomar Obregon from P2K and Valentina Arango with Whitecap have been instrumental in leading these crucial initiatives, demonstrating an enduring commitment to empowering Latinas and all women to achieve their fullest potential in a historically male-dominated field. Their hard work lays the foundation for a more inclusive and equitable construction landscape, inspiring future generations of women to build their careers with confidence and expertise.
